It gives everyone the opportunity to talk about their week and hear about what other people are going through as well. For the younger guys it can help them understand that even the older guys make mistakes and not everything goes there way, we all live to play another day and being able to help each with different things and cover different topics can be beneficial to everyone involved

“The things I liked most about the Sunday calls were the times where people shared what was going on in their football careers. It really helps to see what other people are going through and how they are planning to get through it. Then you can use that to help yourself get through times where you might not know what to do. I also like when we share our weeks and if there was a problem someone encountered, then everyone can help them to try and fix it!”

The mentorship that Coach David and Coach Wellock have provided for me has pushed me not only to be the best kicker I can be, but the best person I can be. It’s an amazing feeling to be surrounded by like minded individuals who make each other better, and I always leave those calls motivated, as well as an increased knowledge on kicking, and life. I look forward to our calls every Sunday, and I look forward to continuing working with everyone involved.

“Coach Andrew’s training has helped me develop skills to be a better kicker. He will tell you step by step on how to improve each kick. I believe that knowing what you did wrong on each kick is equally important as knowing how to improve and Coach Andrew lets me know exactly that. It’s the little tweaks that make a huge difference and I appreciate his insight. “

Training with Coach Andrew has helped me become a much more consistent punter and kicker. He does a great job of pointing out what needs to be fixed and he has a great knowledge of drills that can critique some bad habits. Coach Andrew also does a great job of letting you work on what you want to improve on, whether it be kickoff, field goals, or punting. Lastly, I really appreciate how he is never in a rush when the workout comes to an end. If the time limit happens to go over a little bit he doesn’t mind at all. Our meetings we have every Sunday night are very beneficial for young specialists. We learn about how to keep your body in the best condition, how to be a great teammate and leader, how to be mentally tough and much more. Plus, you get to talk with highly experienced specialists who played at some of the top division one schools and in the NFL.

Being able to interact with Coach David and Coach Wellock has given me the opportunity to learn so much so quickly and begin to really dig deeper into my process, something that has helped me in other facets of my life as well. It’s incredible to see how much their thoroughness in all aspects of kicking and life can help you. I am glad I have gotten to know both Coach Wellock and Coach David more over the course of the last year and look forward to working with them even more in the future.

I met Coach Wellock as he was one of a few different instructors at a kicking camp and throughout the day I was able to improve my technique with his instruction. I have proceeded to work with Coach Wellock with 1 on 1 training where he has not only helped me improve my kicking techniques but also has helped with showing me how to get my body in tune with itself with the proper stretching and warm up before I start. He gives me feedback that not only improves my technique but helps with the mental side of kicking and being a good supportive teammate. I greatly value the training he provides along with the texts of encouragement and the videos of things to work on. The Sunday group calls provide great information with the ability to ask questions on a wide range of subjects that improves my athletic ability but also helps me be a better teammate and person.

Love working with both Andrew’s , I have been working with coach Wellock since my freshman year and his knowledge is helping me to improve my abilities not only as a kicker, but as an athlete, and help me become the best version of myself.

Andrew Wellock and Andrew David are teachers of the mechanics and mental approach to kicking to be sure but also provide a Christian fellowship and mentorship to my son that is invaluable. As a parent and a coach myself, I appreciate their approach and passion for making kids better specialists but also providing another example of how to positively conduct oneself in everyday life. My son and I have been lucky to have a good circle of people to go to for advice in the kicking world and Coach Wellock and Coach David have been a big part of that!
